Tsuyoshi is the Representative Director and President of Mercer's Japan operations. He has led various consulting activities, in particular for clients undergoing the critical stages of M&A and globalization. As a senior partner of the firm, he is leading Mercer's diversity and inclusion efforts in Asia Pacific Region as the Chairman for Region's Diversity Council.
In addition, he has been hosting a forum for senior management participants called the "C-Suite Club," where he advocates the theme of "Innovate Japan through People."

He co-authored the following books: HR Due Diligence for Successful M&A (December 2006; Chuo Keizai), Post-Merger Integration (May 2007; Nikkei Publishing), Diversity Strategy ?Innovation through Opinion Diversity (July 2008; First Press), Power of neutral brain (January 2009; First Press), HR Due Diligence for Successful M&A - the second edition (April 2010; Chuo Keizai), and Reading aloud is the way for improving your English! Before joining Mercer, he worked for McKinsey & Company, where he supported numerous global and Japanese clients on critical top management issues. As a member of the healthcare practice, as well as the retail and consumer goods practice, he spent approximately four years at the Japan office and a year at the New Jersey office in the United States.

Prior to McKinsey, he worked for Nippon Life Insurance Company, where he worked in the HR department and at the sales and marketing headquarters.

He holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA from Hitotsubashi University.

Manish Mishra, a Japanese National, has served as Japanese Subsidiary Leadership Team Member and senior Director for Nihon Microsoft leading sales & marketing, and business development & strategy for strategic market segments for the subsidiary. Manish chose to retire from Microsoft with a mission of helping and supporting businesses to expand in Japan and India market.

Prior to Nihon Microsoft, Manish has been Chief operating officer and Chief Financial Officer for a Japanese biotechnology company where he was responsible for driving business growth and led the company to IPO on the Japanese market. After carrying out complete strategic business plan, Manish founded the Indian Joint Venture for multinational Japanese company, Square Enix Corporation, and served as Chief Executive Officer of the Joint Venture in India for four years. Manish has also been a venture capitalist with a global private equity firm, Apax Partners, focusing on Japanese market where he experienced many private equity investments and growing the business for M&A or IPO.

With his roots tied deeply to both Japan and India, Manish started the consulting & M&A firm dedicated to grow businesses in two most unique cultures leveraging his experience and network in the countries.

Ulf Schneider is the founder and Managing Partner of the RUSSIA CONSULTING Group. The group has offices in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg), Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan (Almaty, Aktau), Poland and Germany and provides consulting services to Western companies with a major focus on practical support in such areas as Legal Entity Set-Up, Accounting Outsourcing, Internal Audit / Due Diligence, IT, Interim Management, Taxation and ERP-Setup.

Before setting up this business Ulf Schneider worked as CFO in the Moscow office of Allianz Insurance. During that time he led projects in financial management, life and pension insurance.

After studying economics in Kiel and at the University of Illinois Ulf Schneider worked for 5 years with Procter & Gamble in financial management, corporate taxation and planning, working in Germany and also in Brussels, Belgium.
